Cable Configurations

• Conductors typically range from 7 x 44 (36 AWG) or 7 x 42 (34 AWG) to 20 AWG with from 7 to 37 strands - other strandings available
• Conductor platings of silver, nickel, smooth tin; gold MTO optionally
• Conductors can be copper, copper alloys, cadmium alloys, or thermocouple alloys
• POF (plastic optical fiber) conductors for high-capacity data transfer of large blocks of imaging data
• Foldable tinsel conductors offered enable wire to make a sharp 180º bend back onto itself repeatedly
• Cables are available with mixed AWG gauge conductors or with POF contained in a single cable (hybrid)
• Number of conductors in cable typically range from 2 to 36 conductors - additional conductors are available
• Cables can have twisted pairs, singles, and conductor groups combined in one cable
• Individual conductors are typically insulated with TFE, FEP, Copolyesters, or TPE elastomers
• Other insulations offered provide specific properties to meet custom parameters
